suspense.
24-HOUR STUDENT COMPETITION.

DESCRIPTION.
The rising costs of living in Hawai'i have caused many problems for locals on the islands fighting for their homes and ways of living every day. In fact, O'ahu, Hawai'i houses two of the poorest cities in the nation. With the addition of non-locals purchasing land and the increasing construction of buildings catered towards tourism, it becomes evidently noticeable of local families and individuals trying to survive on the islands.
Suspense utilizes spaces underneath bridges/highways, which reduces the cost of housing/renting in Hawai'i because of the structures design being adaptable in various areas. The use of an invasive tree species on the islands, known as Albizia, will be the primary material used for construction, as many of these trees are destroyed and thrown away.
