The remainder of 2023 was exceptionally busy, as I had the opportunity to travel with family and be a part of some exciting, new projects. As 2023 comes to an end, I can't help but reminisce and be thankful for the experiences in both my professional and personal life. Although I had my fair share of ups and downs this past year, I continue to do my best and see the brighter side of every day. Now that it is the start of a new calendar year, I find myself lost in thought as I linger on to the notion of a "new year, new me".
Why haven't I blogged these past couple of months?
Towards the ending of the year, my schedule began to fill up with life and work that I decided to wait and post when the new year began. What have I been up to, you may ask? Let me show you:
Golden State
I have not been to California in a long while, and seeing the Queen Concert in person gave me a reason to take a trip there again. Driving through the different cities, I could visually see the style of architecture begin to change amongst the cities and neighborhoods. Some were ornate with fine details, while others stood proud in the colors of the rainbow.
Evergreen State
There is an abundance of activities to do in the greater city of Seattle, and I definitely try my best to take advantage of it. Especially during the holiday season where festivities and holiday lights begin to flourish throughout the city. There are still so many opportunities to experience and I have yet only scratched the surface. For now, I will continue to appreciate the many different views I get to see along the way.
Aloha State
The islands will forever always hold a special place in my heart everywhere I go in life. Although I only got to stay for a few days, it helped remind me of where I came from and why my life is the way it is today. I am blessed to call it my home and I cannot wait to visit again one day.
During my trip, I tried to take a series of pictures of the different corners of buildings that I got to see to make a quick architectural flip-through video. Although I forgot to take pictures most of the trip, this was a fun, small project that I did for myself.
Now that it is the start of a new calendar year, I find myself lost in thought as I linger on to the notion of a "new year, new me". As 2023 comes to an end, I can't help but reminisce and be thankful for the experiences in both my professional and personal life. I look forward to what the new year has in store for as I continue to carry the bags of experiences I packed along the way. Thank you to all who have supported me along the way in my profession, and I hope to share my new upcoming projects with you all as soon as I am done with them. My goals for the new year are to continue stepping beyond my comfort zone and make time for extra-curricular activities that help improve my personal and professional life.
What goals do you have for the new year?
What are you excited for this upcoming year?
